Adult Program
Adult programs include women and co-ed and intermediate co-ed classes. Both classes include basic sailing skills, boat terms, rigging, tacking, gybing, and points of sail plus fine-tuning sail trim, reading tell-tales, and boat handling skills.
- We have 2 Colgate 26 boats available, and a J/24, with one instructor per boat.
- Four student slots are available per each boat.
- Students rotate through learn-to-sail positions.
- Students may bring their own U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket.
- We offer two-week sessions with four classes per session.
- Every class starts promptly at published time and run for 2 hours.
- First-class meets on the second-floor deck under the canopy.
- Enter from exterior stairwell north end of the building.

In the event of rain, we will do our best to reschedule. Refunds are not given for missed classes.
PRICE:
The cost is $500 per session (4, 2 hour lessons). No pro-rating. Proceeds go towards PYC’s Junior Sailing programs. Payment must be received by July 1st.
Cancellation requests submitted four (4) weeks or more, before the first class, will be reimbursed in full. Cancellation requests submitted at shorter notice are subject to partial reimbursement.
